On 26 July 2010 the Department of Health published its review of Arms’ Length Bodies – Liberating the NHS: Report of the arms-length bodies review . Although the report announced abolition of the National Patient Safety Agency, NCAS functions are continuing so you can still refer concerns to us or phone us for advice on a general governance question. We are working towards becoming a self funding body and you can expect a number of changes to be announced in the coming months as we find a new home outside NPSA. But don’t be alarmed. We are still here.
