NCAS works with a number of partners including the professional regulatory bodies, the Care Quality Commission, postgraduate training bodies and the Medical Royal Colleges. We also work with the professional representative bodies and professionals’ defence organisations to share experience and learning.
We have set out ways of working with partner organisations in ‘memoranda of understanding’ (MOUs) and similar agreements. The most recent statement (14 August 2012) sets out principles in relation to the operation of the General Medical Council's Employer Liaison Advisers (ELAs) and NCAS Advisers.
A number of changes in the way organisations share information are now proposed and the MOUs below will be updated to reflect these changes.
